§ 30-518. Side yard regulations

(a) There shall be no interior side yard required in any C-2 village commercial district, except that in such cases when a side yard is provided, there shall be a minimum interior side yard of five feet, provided that the structure contains a solid fireproof wall. In such case where the structure contains windows and/or doors on the interior building side yard, a setback equal to one-half the height of the structure shall be required.

(b) Except that on any lot or tract in any C-2 village commercial district, which is located adjoining any other commercial district, in which a side yard of less than ten feet is allowed, the side yard of that district may be used.
